My focus is on fix n' flips and buy and holds on single family and multifamily homes in the bay area.

It feels like a good time to start seeking advice from experts, attending local meet-ups, and start interviewing real estate agents who know the east bay rental market.

Bay Area RE investors complain prices are too high, yet THEY ARE STILL CLOSING DEALS LEFT AND RIGHT WITH LITTLE TO NO CASH FLOW.

I'm in the process of evaluating two  Trust companies with San Francisco Bay Area offices  to convert my tradition SEP IRA into a Self Directed SEP IRA.

All of our loans have been conventional with cash rehabs when needed (most).I'm finishing up my first "blue collar" rental renovation in Curtis Bay which may make me love this strategy and perhaps even go Section 8 as you have done!

To all bay area investors out there an inevitable question:  Do you protect your investment with EQ insurance?

Doing value added plays in B and C markets carries higher risk then doing it in the Bay Area.
