Are there any under 25 year old landlords out there in Baltimore?

I'm curious as to whether or not there are any young landlords out there, working it in Baltimore. I have been to numerous meet ups and always come across landlords who are mostly way past their 20's. So it made me curious if there are any out there. I know there are but where are you all hiding?

It would be cool to connect with individuals that are my age and like minded. Very hard to come by. If there is a small supply of under 25 year of age landlords in Baltimore, then I could be one of the biggest under 25 years of age landlords in the area and not know it! lol (winner by default).

So come on out of the wood works. I know yall are out there!

• I run a Meet-Up in Baltimore, there are lots of people under 25 who are out there doing real estate transactions. 
• I got excited about real real estate at age 20, just having served three years in the Army, stationed in Germany.
• I couldn't get enough of it, I thought it was the most exciting thing I ever encountered .........the idea of creating income, a cash flow from the smallest particle in the universe ......... a THOUGHT.
• Taking that thought, that desire, and converting them to cash was absolutely amazing to me.
• The very idea that it was possible to make money without a job thrilled me.
• Real estate today, now in my 70's, is still exciting and rewarding.
• Hang in there and your youthful desires, energy and your thoughts will materialize  and reward you beyond your greatest expectations.

I don't think he was badmouthing "wholesalers" but was interested in finding other buy and hold/landlords.

My girlfriend and I currently own 10 rentals in addition to our primary in Baltimore.  She's 26 with 3 and I'm 29 (30 this weekend) with 7.  We could have a LOT more if we did cheaper or section 8 houses but our strategy has been higher end houses around the Patterson Park area (Canton, Fells, Brewers, Butchers).  At an average purchase price of ~200k or so it's a little slower to throw down 20-30% on these houses but we like the numbers and tenant pool we've been getting!  All of our loans have been conventional with cash rehabs when needed (most).

I'm finishing up my first "blue collar" rental renovation in Curtis Bay which may make me love this strategy and perhaps even go Section 8 as you have done!

Nice man! Looks like we are at about the same numbers. I also started in Baltimore about 2 years ago as well. Nice to see young individuals going for it. I was hoping for a bigger response rate but one is better then none!

I'm 25; so just missed your cutoff of "under 25". Hahaha

I've been slowly but steadily buying rental properties in the city for about 2 years now.  Looking to purchase my sixth property in the next few months!

By the way ----- where's the word "Wholesalers" come from. Makes no sense to me. If you are buying, holding flipping real estate, aren't you an investors?

People call me all the time, they tell me they are a wholesaler, Oh, great! How many have you done" The answer is"None"! I think people feel good with a title - Wholesaler - Big Hat and No Cattle!

I am 26 and just bought a duplex in south Baltimore in January.  My wife and I are living in half and renting the other...handling some renovations in our unit now.

Already loving getting that rent check...my goal is to pick up at least one more property this year,  but first id like to get started with some marketing to find a great deal.
