Hey everyone, I'm hoping this forum reaches somebody who might be able to help.While taking an interest in real estate investing and understanding how to buy/rent/own/manage properties as the primary source of income, I've stumbled on the idea of becoming a real estate agent.I'm obsessed with property and finding value in an area, and I am certain that I can apply my passion in this field.I've been researching and reading a TON on what this career would look like for me and, the more time that I spend reading and looking at this stuff, the more I like it.

We are both passionate about entrepreneurship and feel that REI is such a great fit for us and that we have been blessed to have found Bigger Pockets.

I live in Houston, TX and work in the Oil & Gas industry, but my passion is looking at floor plans to see how I can make it more functional.

We've been able to learn from some mistakes, but have also really grown in our passion for educating ourselves in these fields in recent years.We have four young kids (ages 8 months to 7 years), so that keeps us fairly busy, but also drives us to put the work smart, hard, and right now.
