Good tenants want better quality washer/dryer than the old or cheap ones a landlord will provide.In my market, central AC is a must.

Hey Bigger Pockets network, I am an investor / landlord in Central Texas and have noticed my biggest challenge is finding and coordinating quality vendors for jobs at my properties.

In parts of Englewood there is a lot of crime; why am I the focus of the local authorities? 

Maybe getting the pipes extended and adding baseboard or a new heating system in the attic and have central forced air from the ceilings. 

They will send you a bill w/o your authorization.

Here is a summary of what I’ve found:1- If the tenant were to open a dispute, some states could order the landlord to return all rents back to the tenant because the landlord never had the authority to collect rents for the unit in the first place.

And so I e-mailed the Housing Authority and explained the situation and they sent her a nice letter telling her if she caused issues she could lose her voucher and be evicted. 

I'm in Fort Lee but am looking down in Central Jersey too for deals. 

But if your budget lets you swing doing something on the edges of West Central near Kendall Yards, or Garland, etc that isn't super ritzy...

We are looking to relocate to central Florida this year and want to sell one of the rental duplexes.
