@Tony Tran After reading my last post I forgot to add that the next meet up is at the Doubletree hotel off Arden Way on 09/21/16.

These people want to stay in a hotel/motel in Springdale, as close as possible to the park itself.

  What is the condo/hotel market generally like in Orlando.  

I have even flown to other states to meet with clients.. ( of course I had talked to them on the phone. but it was big enough timber deals that I wanted a face to face and whats 1k bucks in flight car and hotel if I was going to make a few hundred grand on the deal.. its simply the cost of doing business. as this is all I do .I never did not close the deal when I made this unique effort..

I used to have a friend down there that worked in the hotel industry and got me some good deals.There are a few things you need to do before getting started.  

I have/do rent to two tenants who have had criminal backgrounds.First tenant was in a transition program for an extensive period of time (years); had a job working in maintenance at a local hotel which he faithfully rode his bike to (a distance of a good number of miles) because, of course, he was not allowed a car.  

The cost of the plane ticket and hotel room ($1000?)

Cap rates vary by area, asset class, and deal size.So you need to be specific (office,retail,industrial,hotel,self storage,etc.)
