Seems like it would be a good place for economic development.Cool city, with great prices and really not all that far the the "Big" Cities.Probably has a good workforce of hard working people.How do you feel like your economic development board is?   

I think you could make a case that they are at times but at the end of the day the distressed home sellers have not been good stewards of their properties and therefore sell at a discountI lived in Mexico doing missionary work for a while so I learned Spanish and the culture.They hate debt and so never develop credit scores.

In order to add living space to the home, we worked with the city to develop egress window codes to add an additional bedroom as well as beautifully finished bathroom and family room. 

I negotiated this property by trading my owned property for this one, as it was a brand new property in an area being developed.

I have a 40 acre development property for residential or commercial use.

Currently we are in the software developement faze.

Personally, I have found occasional private lending to be a good networking tool and lead generator for what I'm really looking for - properties I can develop. 

There are even 2 gigantic "crawlspace" areas in the house that could be developed into additional ADUs.  

But I think you may be asking, should you do the rezoning, or leave it to the ultimate developer.
