Anyone out there have experience with providing short-term housing, by the  bedroom, for traveling healthcare workers?

Thanks to bigger pockets for supporting this platform and everyone who actively contributes their time and information.I am well rounded life long learner who is currently working as a IT project manager within healthcare industry.  

There was no hurry, we both had good W-2 jobs, my wife in health care and me in working for a company that produces language tests.And then 2015 came along.

Before I started studying real estate management I worked in the IT-business as an QA-engineer with developing the health care in countries in Africa (Uganda and Zambia mostly) and before that I studied electricity and energy for three years and worked as an electrician for about a year. 

You can get the entire entree out here for that.Longer term, if California doesn't bankrupt itself trying to give citizens of other countries free health care or provide cell phones to the homeless, and actually makes the vision of the California High Speed Rail a reality, or self-driving cars become mainstream and allow commuters to work on the road to work, then Sacramento will absolutely fricking explode with Bay Area commuters.But then again, we may have FAR bigger problems on the horizon, with automation, robots and AI set to replace as much as 73 million jobs by 2030.

And exactly, we are both doing this in addition to our primary incomes -- he w his established contracting business, and me, currently w my health care management position, from which I'll retire early for a career change to Realtor (my exam is next week!).

@Steven Hamilton II I got to 43% within 39.6% highest bracket Federal individual tax rate plus the Obama health care tax of 3.8%, and did not add in the 15.3% Social Security Tax, which would make the total even higher at 58.7%, not including state and local income tax which obviously varies from state to state.

The sale is being court supervised because the Dept. of Health Care Services has a claim.Medi-Cal will not settle.  

I think part of the out of state dealio is...do you really think that random sfr is going to make more than a senior health care facilities Reit or some other higher space commercial property Reit?

In terms access to basic components of health (health care, food, etc), we're not the greatest.
