Hi everyone! I'm Alexander and I'm excited to finally be posting this. It's been a long time coming and I just haven't taken the time to do it but here we go!
As I said, I'm Alexander Hummerhielm, I'm 23 years old and I live in Stockholm, Sweden. I'm originally from Southern Sweden, Helsingborg, but I moved to Stockholm about a year ago to do a degree in real estate management. Before I started studying real estate management I worked in the IT-business as an QA-engineer with developing the health care in countries in Africa (Uganda and Zambia mostly) and before that I studied electricity and energy for three years and worked as an electrician for about a year.
My interest for RE and REI is mostly from reading a lot of finance- and businessbooks and watching a few movies about the business. I started reading around on different forums and talking to people that I knew had some knowledge about the business and eventually found that a degree in real estate management would be a good foundation for me to begin building my career on.
So, on to my aspirations, goals and dreams. I'm first and foremost looking to build up my knowledge in the business once I've graduated by working for a real estate company and learning the ways of the big boys. Once I feel like I have the knowledge and the capital needed I want to start investing in my own projects. Eventually I want to work with African countries and developers, mainly because I see the need, but also because I was very comfortable with working there the few weeks I did.
I don't really see a limitation as to where I will be working in the future, I would love to explore other countries while at the same time working there.
Thank you for taking your time to read this, feel free to contact me for any questions or if you just want to broaden your network.
Best Regards,
Alexander Hummerhielm
