I do not feel comfortable going back over there after how they acted during the inspection.Do you think they will have legal grounds to move forward with suing or rent escrow actions given the following circumstances 1) "as-is" language in the lease (pasted below); 2) nothing about smell is included on the pre-move-in inspection; and 3) the city inspector was already out and stated there was no violation?

So, when you say they not do report on your personal credit report I guess you are talking about non-recourse loans? 

The jomax location has more of a rural feel where lookout mountain is completely built out.

If an LLC, we look up LLC ownership to see if a person or their legal agent.

Ana,Based on experience and this market me personally I would avoid a HELOC for a few reasons.

Rent the other side of the duplex to a person you then employ as a full-time (or part-time) nanny.

Every where we asked, it is not possible to convert from our personal name to an LLC (which own by us).
