Hi all, I am interviewing tenants and would like to do a background check on them.

My background in real estate is very limited. 

I do not do background checks if inherited tenants sign a new lease, if you have several months evidence they are good tenants.

There is the obvious risk of bad tenants, but screenings/background checks would help reduce that risk along with the price of the rent (a higher income tenant generally tends to mean a higher quality tenant).

I am only about to give a quick background to emphasize the hunger that I have.

Do you have a construction background?

When you say “tenant documents” do you mean background/credit checks completed during the application process?
