They are in the industry for a quick buck and have no clue on how real estate works, how to protect their, buyer/seller, or what to look out for. 

So go in with less personal questions and begin with industry local questions and perhaps your experience first before asking them about their experience.

Will it crash the industry?

I’d like to meet new people in this industry and learn about everyone’s experiences! 

I have a lot of connections in the construction industry right now looking for work, (whom I trust) so we could flip this fairly quickly. 

As an agent in my first year in the industry, I am all about learning how to become better.

why pivot into one of the most risky industries for a beginner?

I've gotten 3 in the last 2 years and they rent just fine as single and dual-tenant living.In a more realistic world I would recommend a 4 bedroom and 2-3 bath house near good industries and hospitals.

So, I recently passed the Ca real estate exam (just waiting for my license in the mail now) and wondering if there are part time (weekends/nights) opportunities in the industry or more specifically helping another agent/business remotely or locally?

I would recommend looking up local real estate meet ups in your area and attending as many as you can - this will be a great way to network with lots of players in the industry including real estate agents, investors, wholesalers, lenders, etc
