Someone who has the capability to make this actually happen is not likely to share that amount of the profits with his financiers. 

As Russel says the owner could have believed that a patch fully repaired the problem.You could fight this and possibly win, as the system is generally skewed to protect "innocent" buyers.

@Amiris Brown  if that's the case go work for a top producer and take their on line and marketing presense and put it on steroids.. most agents are not that great at it.. and need capable people in that area.work for piece of the action
