My name is Beau. I am new to BP. I have spent the last 18 years on Active Duty in the Marine Corps. I will be retiring in the next 2 years. I am a proud husband of a successful Salon/Spa owner, and father of 2 awesome teenagers. I am very interested in Real estate investing. I believe I want to start with wholesale, and eventually move into flipping and more. My strengths are public speaking and consultative communication and selling skills. I gained these attributes when I spent 3 years on Recruiting Duty for the Marines. Surprisingly to myself, I was very successful on this duty, So much so that I was Recruiter of the year in my area which included about 60 recruiters in Alabama, the eastern half of Mississippi and the panhandle of Florida. After winning this award, I was given a station to manage myself. As a Station Commander, I was even more successful. On a daily basis, I would find the youth of our country via telephone call, area canvasing, and even going door to door. I found that in order to be successful, I needed 3 things. Communication skills, product knowledge, and drive. I believe if I can be successful convincing today's youth to change their plans and join the most rigorously trained fighting force in the country, I can do anything (as long as I am passionate) So with all this being said, I am ready to find my next career. My future goals are to provide a comfortable life for my family and to never have to leave them again. I am a little unsure of how to get started so a mentor might be what I need. I look forward to connecting with many of you here on BP and I am excited to take the first step of a life long journey.
