With subterranean termites, often they go into the house because of a water leak, so make sure you check for any leaks around the areas where the termites were found.

For example today I had a roof leak in covered porch on a roof that appears to be less than 10 years old but the metal work along the house wasn't done properly and water was getting under it and rotting the decking so my guys are replacing 2.5 square of roof with new modified roofing and changing out 4 sheets of damaged plywood decking.

Leaks.

Casement windows seal better and leak less with age and wear.Tilt-n-turn and casement windows also give you the most egress clearance, making them better choices for bedrooms.
