Everyone said I was a complete idiot for giving it more then two seconds of thought.I quickly found out I couldn't contract, you had to be 21 back then, but my older brother was 19 and married with two kids and he could legally contract, and he did need some extra income so he joined with me, and away we went, with two cents worth of real estate investing knowledge and high hopes.

I've joined the community because I'd like to expand my criteria and begin purchasing small multi-family homes.I look forward to learning from you all and growing, and hopefully sharing what I myself learn!

Besides that, we need to grow our network and to find people to help guide us in the right direction.I feel like step one would be to join some REIC's to expand our network, so my first question is, does anybody know of any REIC's in New York that are free or affordable to someone who doesn't make much money?
