After looking at those pictures I'd recommend the following (this can go many different ways), although you may be able to get by with less but you'd may enjoy the kitchen in the mean time

This trip was a double bonus for me ie enjoy family and also check out the land that my family owns for the first time since I was a kid.

A little bit about what I have going on now:1 Self storage facility with 36 units, 2 small "warehouses", 2 offices, and 2 conference rooms, 1 2000sf mobile home (need pricing to come down 100k first 80% occupancy)1 Self storage facility with 3 locations and 300+ units with 96% occupancy ( deals is great, out of my price range unless I can get creative)1 Mobile home park with 60+ units and 90% with renters expecting a rent increase. 50% pad rent 50%are portfolio owned trailers Would enjoy hearing some thoughts

We enjoy our careers and options as a child-free couple at the moment, but we have no interest in paying the high price of entry to New York landlord-ship. 

I own a townhome in in Colorado Springs and have enjoyed great appreciation and reasonable cash flow since last year.

A person with a disability, or a person associated with such person, who maintains an assistance animalin a dwelling shall comply with the rental agreement or any rules and regulations of the property owner applicable to all residents that do not interfere with an equal opportunity to use and enjoy the dwelling and any common areas of the premises.

If you feel so strongly: Sell your RE, Move out of your State, and enjoy. 

It's hard work but if you enjoy it then it's not work at all :)
