Hello South Carolina Bigger Pockets Forum readers,

I am new to the Charleston area, Just came from the gulf coast in Pensacola almost 5 months ago.

I've join a few REI groups and have been looking to join the chamber of commerce soon as I can't wait to get more involved with my new community!

I sold my small portfolio in FL before I moved because the was no profit to be had with a management company involved...as to be expected for a couple handfuls of single family homes. My style is aggressive but calculated in nature. My Background is a mix between mechanical engineering, sales/marketing, and REI.

I have been looking for some friends/connections in the field: investors, prop. managers, brokers, agents, wholesalers, and contractors. I'll buy the first coffee/beer.

  • A little bit about what I have going on now:
  • 1 Self storage facility with 36 units, 2 small "warehouses", 2 offices, and 2 conference rooms, 1 2000sf mobile home (need pricing to come down 100k first 80% occupancy)
  • 1 Self storage facility with 3 locations and 300+ units with 96% occupancy ( deals is great, out of my price range unless I can get creative)
  • 1 Mobile home park with 60+ units and 90% with renters expecting a rent increase. 50% pad rent 50%are portfolio owned trailers

Would enjoy hearing some thoughts
