Not that it's hard, but understand those podcasts, books and CD's for what they are: an introduction to wholesaling to get you excited enough about it to buy more advanced training. 

The appraisal was actually a BPO Broker Price Opinion that I disputed since the person only did a drive by of my property and compared it to other properties (comps) that they had full knowledge of upgrades for the interior and exterior.

I am interested in the webinars, however I will miss most of them because I am usually driving when they happen.

Like hey do a drive by on that property for me etc.. buy you a cup of coffee..

I think Driving or Walking for Dollars is an awesome  way to start. 

Secondly, the amount of paid training and or coaching is what really separates you from the wannabes.Some would be investors refused to take the necessary training, thinking that absorbing all the free information from other investors and the Internet is enough to make them a successful investor. 

I know that I need a company that offers excellent training, but what about joining a team?

I think direct mail is the most effective, particularly driving for dollars in your target neighborhoods.

Got into wholesaling knowing without proper training, and got into trouble. 

Locating the presidential center in either Washington Park or Woodlawn would drive major investment on the South Side, creating new businesses and resources for residents and visitors.
