Hello, I am about to form an LLC with my friend who has his own contractors business, and I am a real estate agent. 

I had a friend who did network security (either remotely from home or onsite across the country )earning your ballpark income in the Midwest until I showed him he could buy a house here in Vegas with just the state income tax saved.

Or sell the pretty pictures in the brochures -- not sure how he's doing it, but he's showing those new houses on his FB page on a pretty regular basis.I was also surprised to learn from some BP friends over in Beaumont that they are getting higher returns on their rentals than we are. 

I recommend working with an investor-friendly brokerage that can help you throughout the entire process of purchasing, renovating, renting and managing your rental property.
