The essence of this strategy is to show up in as many auctions as you can on quality driven keywords, so we're talking about those bottom of the funnel keywords like "sell my house fast " or "cash home buyers near me" etc.

@Dennis It's more of a quality of life play. 

You could speak to an attorney or title company about doing a quite title or deed change so you buy it from your mom for $5 or something like that.

Speaking of @Jay Hinrichs selling off assets, it seems to be that since he is still trading notes, he still has faith in the RE space. 

Speak to the Tenants if possible about their rent and whatever utilities they pay.

We haven't done a deal in that zip code so I can't speak from experience.

This is a great place to learn about investments, etc.I can't speak to the other cities you mentioned, but I point a lot of our clients to Colorado Springs because of its current investment potential.
