A business does not base their business plan on possible RE appreciation and sale of that building.

Looking at the rough numbers and we are comparing apples to apples ie: area and appreciation, I think the first is a better option because the cash on cash return from the investment cost to rent ratio.

The renovator mentioned the house is in poor condition, requiring a ground-up renovation, which would demand additional funding.I’d greatly appreciate your insights and advice on this matter.
