A lot of the properties in Allegheny County haven't sold in decades so a lot of times they are assessed at what they sold for last.One of those taxing bodies has to appeal the tax assessment to get the property taxes raised, abesnt of a whole county wide re assessment on every property.

THe lists we go after are Absentee Owners, Inherited Properties, and Tax Delinquent Properties.I'm trying to determine if I should continue this wide but shallow strategy or maybe cut back on a few of the cities and dive deeper in the remaining cities.

And as much as I like those neighborhoods I'd steer more towards up and coming areas where cash flow is easier to find and where you can buy something a bit distressed, force some appreciation, and where there's hopefully further neighbhorhood-wide appreciation (at least if you're willing to hold).
