To try and get the smell out I had a contractor rent a tile steamer, I had an AC guy come clean out all of the vents and I had the entire interior painted... and it still smells AWFUL!

I'll say that this style + an interior finish level that matches it will be tough to bring in at this price (approx $178/sq ft) factoring in the lot UNLESS you are locationally agnostic.Zoning, too, will be an issue if you're looking at putting this within city limits, which is one of the reasons my doubts lie in the lot costs.

I have recently come across an opportunity to purchase an 8 unit portfolio from a real estate investor. 7/8 of the properties have recently had the interiors renovated and all of them are currently filled with tenants.
