I’m looking for budget friendly ideas on how to heat & cool basement in a rental I have , the basement is finished with a room, bathroom , laundry room & living area .

Relators that I could connect with in the area that are movers and shakers (not a guy/gal who sells two houses a year) Currently, I am still abroad in Asia finishing work here, but will be returning back to America this early fall.

Any recommendations for books/resources to help the newbie through the process of how to go from start to finish with the development process and each of the steps involved in buying land, going through zoning and planning, how especially to forecast costs and do the due diligence to forecast the potential to then divide the plot into smaller lots and build duplexes to hold and rent?

@Jaysen Medhurst I'm in a pretty unique situation where I started a "full-time" job after my junior year of college, but my employer is paying for me to finish my degree.

Finishing another 360 square feet upstairs bringing the appraisal to $455,000.

I purchased a property with cash 1 month ago and it will take me another month to finish the renovation for it.Today I went to a local bank and they told me that I have to own the property for at least 6 months in order to get a loan from them.
