I personally think using a CPA instead of tax software is worth the investment. 

This might be wishful thinking but was exploring the possibility of making some money learning about real estate investing while I also pursued my career as a software developer.Any advice is greatly appreciated.

We're seeking some canned software for managing leads, chart rendering, and general inbound marketing stuff.  

Our formal training to get our license covers none of it, furthermore mortgage software is notoriously buggy when it comes to real estate investor calculation of DTI, and honestly it's possible to go an entire career as a loan officer without learning to do it right. 

Does anyone have any good templates/download/software for keeping track off all the expenses and profits on a rehab project (P&L)? 

Just looking for some cheap software I can do Elevations, floor plans, electrical, plumbing, etc etc.
