Experienced investor just moved to Hawaii
Aloha!
I moved to Oahu, Hawaii last year and I recently found Bigger Pockets. Just like most of you reading this, I wish I had found BP years ago. The wealth of information here is amazing!
I moved here from Georgia where I had several deals, and continue to have one rental property. I am "experienced" but I know that there is always more to learn from everyone. In my profile I mention that I am a part-time real estate investor and that is because I love working as a software developer.
My primary interest is buy and hold properties and I am in the market to occupy a property with 3/4 bedrooms right now. I am a veteran and would prefer to be able to use a VA loan, but would also be willing to pick up a place that needed work if it didn't meet the VA standards.
