I meant rentals.com as I found a pie chart online somewhere on what places people search the most for rentals and 3rd place was craigslist and I can't remember what was second place, but 1st place was rentals.com.

he had a lame excuse ("just walked in"). if tomorrow he is not done, he is gone. i wanted to do it the whole time, but it meant i have to get quotes for the work instead of finishing the project. i was hopeful it would not come to that.he will lose about 5-6k immediately and much more over the long term. lots of those guys are short sighted. that's why they are where they are in life. oh, well...

If you are wholesaling, there is a good possibility that you won't ever take title, so your liability is inherently limited simply by not appearing on title.In addition, a real estate attorney and tax accountant I respect, John Hyre, has said many times: Don't spend your money on asset protection until you have assets to protect.This means you should be focused first on finding a deal, not on protecting your assets, which may be non-existent if you don't have the funds to form an LLC.No offense meant, just pointing out a perspective to your situation.
