I doubt you would have followed through, but I will give you that assumption, your own words prove my point--As I mentioned, I read through the loan mod docs in some detail, and while the bank could have called the loan due, a change in title did not appear to be cause for cancelling the loan mod, and no affirmation of ownership accompanied the loan mod.
