So in my case I would just check the box that says: may assign and therefore be released from liability.If I was dealing with a private seller (and I knew I could get a buyer), I would try to get my EMD negotiated to $100.

If we close on this triplex it will be our fifth property, assuming we also close on another triplex that has been in escrow for over 2 months.As we try to become smarter about RE investing...some common questions pop up- maintenance work is done by folks who are individuals...how do u cover yourself if any injury happens during the work...or do u work with contractors who waive any liability- we had someone collect the rent earlier but now are insisting that tenants mail the rent to PO box.

'here' if there was that valuable stuff in the units the valuable, pawnable,sellable stuff would be gone and all the junk left behind.Why would there be ONE antique very valuable antique six barrel pistol in one box of clothes and junk and nothing else in it.Those shows are all loaded for TV effect and the WOW is put there on purpose.The guy standing there buying cardboard boxes without opening them,,,for $1-1500 is gonna be broke before he hits a home run.I like the show however,,,and will attend some local storage wars and see how they go,,,'locally'.

By your reasoning, Microsoft is being ridiculous by focusing on businesses unrelated to their Windows cash cow -- video games, set-top boxes, phones, teleportation research (yes, they have a couple guys focused on it), etc are all suboptimal investments.Who at Microsoft didn't get the message?
