toilet missing, sewer gas
The toilet was removed by someone. I won't be able to replace it for several days, so is the best thing to do just stuff some rags into the hole to keep the sewer gas out, or is there a better way? thanks

Sewer gas is not a big deal in most situations. I use a rag inside of a bag from the local store. This makes it so it has a handle to pull it back out and your rag isnt trash, just the bag. If you do a lot of rehab it might be worth investing in a plug with a wing nut on top for this application. They are sold and your big box store or local plumbing supply house.
