I can hardly imagine the loyalty you have from the real professionals in the industry.I have talked MANY a client out of properties that were bad investments - and I do the same for retail buyers.If you're a professional negotiator, great.

Of course, you get the property in its current condition, so you may inherit bad maintenance or environmental issues.

Their circle of influence and sphere will utilize them to invest and the license can be used effectively.

That said, if you are investing in a market with little to no multifamily inventory, then I think condos are not a bad idea at all. 

The article gets one thing right: Landlords are suffering at the hands of tenants that continually make bad choices.

Not bad IMO.

I think it gives real estate investing, overall, a bad name.
