I may need the "suite" version as it doesn't look like interiors version will do elevations, but it's still only $99.The Home Styler suggested by @Kurt F. is pretty interesting too as it's a free and web-based.

The advantage of doing traditional, ground up construction is that you don't have stick to particular module and you can truly customize the building to suit your needs.

I find the books very interesting but do find at times that the author swims out of his depth by talking about Options trading strategies etc.

Hi Kyle, I can recommend a mortgage broker for you, however, the few little rehab things you mention hardly suit needing a 203k loan.

Hi guys,I currently own a condo townhouse in Kitchener Ontario and was thinking of renovating the basement to become a self sustaining 1 bedroom and adding two doors inside the townhouse to separate the two units. The idea would be that I rent the rest of the condo townhouse (3/1) to a family for about $1300 while I live downstairs (1/1).When I move out in a year or two, I'd like to then rent out the unit that I'm a part of.The condo bylaws do not state anything about an additional suite, and only mentions that there cannot be more than 3 unrelated parties living in the home nor be used for student housing. That said, I'm hoping to get some feedback for this project. Thanks in advance!

I realize this may be better suited for the Marketplace, but it would not be categorized as "Selling," "Buying," or "Jobs."
