If you are trying to do a finished basement you'd be better off getting a contractor in to do some additional drainage as well to keep it as dry as possible.

You could also buy a second home for now which only requires 10% down and use it as a STR or turn it into a rental long term (loop hole in lending).

You would need to dig a hole and pour concrete to get a solid base to set them on, not the dirt like the existing ones.
