I thought starting with house hacking with a townhouse was the best place to start, seeing I am new to the Virginia area.

I always thought West Park or similar would be the next go to area but that's not what "the kids" are saying.

I understand it is going to be a higher stress situation as the thought of losing your home can be overwhelming but I could see myself taking an opportunity of someone buying my house over losing it to the bank.

I believe it's time to take action this year by acquiring rental properties and learning from experience instead of just pondering and being stuck in my thoughts.
