First House Hacking Property

Posted

Investment Info:

Townhouse buy & hold investment in Virginia Beach.

Purchase price: $264,000

3bed & 2bath townhouse with wood flooring. has an amazing fireplace in the living room. Has a gated small backyard, a shed, a concrete patio, and a walkway to a firepit. Washer and dryer included.

What made you interested in investing in this type of deal?

I thought starting with house hacking with a townhouse was the best place to start, seeing I am new to the Virginia area. This, I hope, will lead me to buy multifamily properties in the future.

How did you finance this deal?

VA Loan

Lessons learned? Challenges?

My challenges are just the beginning. I am trying to find roommates, but that is something I want to overcome, whether that is investing into a property manager or trying a different approach.

Did you work with any real estate professionals (agents, lenders, etc.) that you'd recommend to others?

Real Estate Agent: Diane Ragsdale
Lender: Mary Beth
