WSJ article on deed fraud aka as stealing your house with the aid of online property records.Given our government's horrific record on protecting online records (every government worker or former government with a security clearance had their fingerprints their personal history and a large part of their financial history stolen by the Chinese government, one of the worst screw-ups in American history) this can become a major issue especially for landlords who very rarely or never visit their properties.

Fact of the matter is I've had stolen good from good areas too so it's all about mitigating risks and for you that might be not investing in certain areas.

It can annoy and even cause an injury if a tenant tries to walk through outside of your timer-designated times.I've considered motion sensor lighting but I haven't found products hardy enough to not be stolen/broken, so I've gone with always-on LED lighting.

It's a strong rental area and should bring $850-900 easily.With all of that being said, if I can hit that $15,000 mark, I want to give some of those profits back to the seller to make up for the money she lost when all her supplies were stolen.
