How would you play continual requests for refunds due to "family emergencies" (whether real or fictitious)?

As basic as those are, I'm not 100% certain I know how to decode that info from my K-1.My K-1 the year of the sale has the following (fictitious-but-plausible) values:Line 2 (Net Rental Loss): -$3,000Line 9a (Net LTGC): $40,000Line 10 (Net Sec 1231 Gain): $6,000Line 19-A (Distributions): $75,000Section L:Beginning capital account: $41,500Current year net income: $43,000Withdrawals & distributions: $75,000Ending capital account: $9,500In this example, my "Adjusted Basis" was the same as my "Beginning capital account" ($41,500) at the beginning of the year, as far as I know from from this, but can I decipher the Adjusted Basis at the time of the sale?

In NJ, they made a referral licence type where you don't have to even take teh CE. 

You'd just need to file a fictitious business name statement and operate as a "DBA".

I don't have a real estate licence and was wondering if in NYC it is needed to make wholesaling deals.

@Trevor J Dammon - here is an idea: play around with the BP calculators, use a fictitious property of $1 million value and tweak your numbers, then see what happens at the 10, 20 and 30 year mark.

If there is a lease in place then you have no court case without a licence. 

You might be able to afford $350k in fictitious Town X, but only $300k in Town Y with the same product.
