The trick is to pull out the money and put it in a different credit union so when the economy collapses and they close your account unexpectedly, you still have the cash to work with.

You can hire a coach that takes you through a transaction from start to finish so you learn the tricks of the trade.

The trick is- you must submit the claim BEFORE the next guest checks in, so if you have back-to-back guests, this is a challenge.I have been able to be reimbursed for a guest who left significant damages and trash. 

But I like the familiarity viewpoint and will add that to my toolbox/tricks-of-the-trade going forward.

@Ben Jernigan- thanks for the post -   your employment is classified as  " seasonal "  employment by lenders ...this scenario can  be trick to  get loan approval for due to  jobs  gaps  and job  changes  .
