I think they all charge about the same (40%), so my preference is a local company with good Internet preference.Usually, you lease up one week or less so the turns is an issue.

We run as many legitimate expenses through the company as possible... health care, car payments, car insurance,  company lunches (1/2 credit for taxes on those), telephones, internet, and this year even our annual meeting of our corporation (of 2 employees!!)

Net Proceeds is about 350K (minus included 40K CAPEX over 2 years).I learned a couple of things that I hope will help other investors looking at their first class C apartment:1) Class C is a broad asset class, if you do take a “slum” and decide to add “sweat equity”, make sure you do hire an onsite property manager who has access to “value” sub-contractors2) Swamp coolers are the most common things to break and get replaced.

Is it best to do it from here through an estate agent (which might be very expensive…there is apparently only luxury estate agents on the internet) or can you take the money to Mexico legally without big losses/expenses (transfer it to a Mexican account) and then buy the house there?
