What property management company you use for vacation rentals
Hello everybody, I purchased a rental in Los Angeles ( close to Art district ) I want to use it for Airbnb or corporate rentals.
I live in San Francisco Bay Area so it makes sense to hire PM.
I am curious to know what PM company you all use for your vacation rentals?
Thank you!
Sammie

Welcome @Sammie Xiao!
Back when I worked at Homeaway I was the Customer Support Manager and worked with the team that created the original "Community by Homeaway" (now converted to the newly branded Vrbo "Partner Community").
That Community has a lot of resources for "newbies" just getting started, including this article:
https://community.vrbo.com/s/n...
Here is the short version:
The people you hire to perform maintenance and handle cleaning at your second home could very well be the lifeblood of your vacation rental business. Because reliable service providers are so vital to your success, it's important that you ask the right questions to select the best possible housekeeper, handyman, landscaper, pool service, etc. for your vacation home.
When interviewing prospective service providers for your vacation rental, here are some questions to address:
1. How long have you been in the business?
2. Have you worked with vacation rentals?
3. Are you licensed/bonded/insured?
4. Do you have any other clients in this building/area?
5. How available are you for new clients?
6. How flexible is your schedule?
7. How much do you charge?
8. What is your preferred method of communication?
9. How do you handle billing?
10. How do you accept payment?
11. What supplies do you provide?
12. What additional services do you provide, beyond the basics?
13. Can I have three references to contact?
I hope this helps!
