People that live like that are also likely to ignore leaks under the sink or washing machine or toilet that cause damage to the floor and subflooring.

There was no running water in the house including the toilets, except for the kitchen sink. 

Are there any significant benefits for using name brand sinks, faucets, toilets, etc.

Something about it all really says "peace", something enjoyable to wake up to every morning and look forward to (not the toilet calls.. you get the point) Like I mentioned with my job, I look to get my first rental (which would actually be my ACTUAL first house) I still live with my parents as of this (I am fortunate to have a position I have) but I really want my own life, and finally begin this journey I say I want so much.

So if your renter didn't make their rent payment this month and just started squatting in your apartment waiting for you to evict them (I have 2 right now who can't pay their rent) - will the lender's loan still get paid?

MTRs have more of a hospitality aspect then LTRs so I have a team of VAs who manages small to large maintenance requests from wifi slowing down to toilet replacements. 

AND... most rentals don't pay 15% return with no tenants or toilets or roofs or furnaces or vacancies. 

Paper towels, and toilet paper for the whole stay.
