That said, I'm also an investor and it's because of my experience even if I did not work in the industry I would still say the same thing.Title companies are getting attorney's opinions as their basis of issuing title insurance.

I had no actual experience in anything real estate related but had owned a couple companies and had a track record in business and leading large teams.If you have any leadership background that would not hurt.Also, don't be high maintenance if you do get the deal as it will hurt your reputation in the relatively small industry.

There is nothing they can teach you that you can't learn on your own or working for someone else.I'd highly suggest going to work for someone in industry; that would be a much better use of your time and you'll be getting paid.Best of luck!
