I just bought a house in April after renting for 3 years as we moved for my wife’s new job and wanted to see what area to invest in well she ended up having a stroke and we spent our savings and getting a loan off one salary is tricky but I worked to get a loan and ended up getting an fha loan and found a house in a nice area.

Our market in Sarasota FL I have found direct mail letters to work pretty well and we are a large retirement community, the retirement community responds better to snail mail than millennial and gen-z generation for sure.

32205, 32207, 32217, some 32204 and all the beaches areas are going to be the higher quality areas in Jacksonville.

I don't know anyone or anything about the area but we are willing to pull the trigger.

@Rahul P.If you are looking to do BRRRR deals in Columbus I recommend areas like Hilltop, Linden, Eastmoor/ Whitehall, and Franklinton.

Since we began lending in 2010, allour loans have been to local house flippers we met at the local real estate clubs and with whom we’ve formed some long relationships.Unless you live in an area with no local REI clubs, there is no reason to do business online or anonymously.

I am not sure which area in Ohio (cleveland, Dayton, Cincy) or PA could be better for me, I don’t have any realtor or property manager and I’ve heard a lot of horrible stories that I am scared of the process.

Financially this deal makes sense; however, I am concerned with the safety aspect… I must live there for a year since I am looking for an FHA loan.There are areas close by that i know can have criminal activity but I am uncertain about this specific area (1-2 mile radius).
