New Journey- Help!
Hello, my name is Angela I am trying to start this journey but I am not sure how to start it. I don’t have any house and I live in NY which is very expensive to buy specially where I live in Westchester, NY. I am looking to buy an investment property out of state and in two years do a house hacking. I am not sure which area in Ohio (cleveland, Dayton, Cincy) or PA could be better for me, I don’t have any realtor or property manager and I’ve heard a lot of horrible stories that I am scared of the process. I am so confused and I would like to start soon but not sure what to do. Please any advices for me?, should I start my journey on PA or Cleveland, OH? Thank you!

i started by renting out a condo that i used to live in, and i grew slowly from there.
the reason that i say a cheap property isn't going to help move you forward is because you'll be spending money on it that could be saved for a house hack, and you won't cash flow, because interest rates are too high.
i am making numbers up but say you need $40K to buy a property in the midwest in a good neighborhood. you buy it. you "cash flow" $100 a month. that's a 3% CoC return. how long will it take you to get your $40K back?
