Hey Everyone,So I'm currently enrolled in the school of hardknocks and learning things along the way...we recently bought a 6 unit building that has the buildings thermostat inside one of the tenants units.

I am a young ambitious student athlete currently residing in west Virginia.

Is this property closer to Woodlawn high school... that's a little better 

I think that is exactly the kind of place a rich foreigner would send their kid for school.

At this point, my strategy is to find the right owner-occupied multi-tenant property near my kids' schools.

Brian, though I am located in Israel I am a bit familiar with some of the top Memphis suburbs that may fit your needs which also have excellent school systems .

We wanted to be closer to the private school where we plan on sending my daughter.  

Didn't know much about real estate but I went to school for architecture, and I currently work for a general contractor so I knew I could get great pricing and find the right house.

Unfortunately they have two things bad for them: 1) Perception that it is a warzone 2) The schools are terrible.

I am not in a position to go to RE school at the moment but that is a goal to accomplish within the coming months.What are some of the best options to starting a REI career with?
