I got into BiggerPockets because me and my gf/partner are looking for all the advice we could get to make a better situation for our kids and family.

My wife and I are going to move our family (three kids) into a fourplex in Utah in the next few months.

The end result being to eventually own rental properties and learn to surf with my kids on some sunny beach, with smaller trips skiing in the rockies. 

If they are not in your area, renovate for the class that is.If you are going to allow kids and pets, prepare!

What kids of questions should I be asking.

LOL- my kids are embarrassed, I'm sure...Chatting with folks is definitely part of my driving for dollars strategy.  

Then there was marriage, jobs, kids and typical mortgages that clouded things for a number of years.

After putting the kids to bed and spending a little time with my wife, I'm usually up until around 1am working on things that need to be done for my properties and personal projects. 

I've learned more in this last month than I did the 4 years I was in college (who are we kidding it was 5 1/2yrs in college :)I've heard multiple times already that 90% of people will never end up pulling the trigger and doing their first deal.
