Been interested for years, but never got to it

I bought Robert Allen's Nothing Down book long ago and thought it to be the most interesting thing in the world. Then there was marriage, jobs, kids and typical mortgages that clouded things for a number of years. Now I'm back to thinking how different things could have been had I gone down the path Robert Allen put in front of me. Of course the entire business has flipped up side down a few times in all this time, but there are still those of you out there making it work and I want to learn from you.
