I will add that I'm not a fan of management companies and the large % of $ profits they take. 

I'm a big fan of fixing 'quirks' which stand out to you from the onset and if this stands out to you, it'll stand out to a buyer as well, if its not common.

Neither of the above is either good or bad but just good to keep in mind, and not that you'll be investing purely based on appreciation anyway.From an investment standpoint I'm not a big fan of condos because: 1) there is usually an HOA/COA to conform to and with also an association fee; 2) there is no unit location 'uniqueness', sure some units may vary slightly but generally, you have a list of competitors with a product just like yours, to left and right of you should those owners decide to rent their properties as well.

I know this is almost more of relationship advice than RE investing advice... lol but I'm asking for my brother... he is really wanting to get into investing in RE, but his Girlfriend is just not a fan of it to say the least.

I'm a big fan of Frank Lloyd Wrights open plan 'Unsoninan' homes. 

Tenants need to air out the home, use ventilation fans, and keep blinds and curtains open so air can circulate against the windows.

I’m a big fan of great teachers and how truly amazing, you all are able to teach and handle so many of our kids on a daily basis.
