I would suggest you cross post your question in other relevant forums (i.e.: Legal related, tax concerns or business strategy related).

If your buying a major rehab, inside looks are advised but buying as is at the right price compared to market ARV rates maybe wirth buying site unseen...if price is right.

But then this does not help the Seller because he has to take the bid lower than mine.2) Bid higher than the highest bid, but deal with this situation ethically.As you suggested, and I concur, I should tell the Highest Bidder that I will also be a bidder and bid higher than his.HOWEVER, this seems to be a situation which will upset that Buyer.This situation CAN possibly arise because I am an Investor with resources.

If you're looking for 2-4 unit buildings then MLS realtors and wholesalers are a good resource.

The site has 2 side interiors so can the setbacks be on 5 feet on either side?

I know you want to look off the MLS for deals....but is it possible there are good deals on these sites like Zillow and Trulia?
