Same here and it works well if your clients self-manage.

The youngsters are all doing well and paying on time and I’m helping them learn how to be good adults which is nice.

It can have a positive effect on marketability if done well, and should positively effect the tenants use of the units for the summer/fall months. 

You then have to stack your financing costs on top of that, as well as reserves for Maintenance and Capex.You could always start off offering the other side of your house as a STR and see how it goes.
